Terms of Service
Last updated: 12/07/2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the StayHint platform. By signing up for and using the service, you accept these terms.
1. The service
StayHint is a platform that lets property owners and managers build and publish a digital guest guide (e.g. Wi‑Fi, arrival/check‑in, access instructions, house rules, local recommendations) on a subdomain or on their own domain, which they share with guests via a link and a QR code.
2. Your account
An account is required to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for every action taken through your account.
3. Subscription, billing & renewal
The service is provided as an annual subscription per property. Payment is made by card (via Stripe) or by bank deposit/transfer. The subscription is valid for the period paid for and may be renewed.
4. Renewal & refunds
Your subscription covers the period you have paid for and stays active until it expires. If you choose not to renew, your access continues as normal until the end of the current period and you are simply not charged for the next one. We do not offer refunds for unused parts of a period, unless required by applicable law.
5. Responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and timeliness of the content you publish in your guide through the platform. StayHint acts as a technical publishing medium and is not liable for the content you enter.
6. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service continuously available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance downtime may occur.
7. Intellectual property
The software, design and content of the platform belong to the operator of the service. The data and content you upload remain yours.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of a breach of these terms or of the law.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of RHODES have jurisdiction over any dispute.
